Job description

Duties and Responsibilities
General Workers
  • Assist with loading and offloading goods and materials.
  • Support the workshop and logistics teams with basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure the yard area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Move vehicles, parts, or tools as instructed by supervisors.
  • Help drivers and logistics staff with daily dispatch and receiving activities.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Perform any other general duties as required by management.
Baywash Assistants
  • Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and company vehicles according to set standards.
  • Ensure washing equipment and chemicals are used safely and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area.
  • Report any damages, leaks, or defects on vehicles to the supervisor.
  • Assist in monitoring water and chemical usage to reduce waste.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines in the wash bay.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a logistics, workshop, or cleaning environment (advantageous).
  • Basic understanding of vehicle types and workshop safety.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work shifts or weekends if required.
