Placements24 is seeking a warm, reliable Childminder for a Sandton home to care for a young child(ren). You will supervise, engage in age-appropriate activities, prepare meals, and support daily routines to ensure safety and well-being in a loving environment.

We value patience, clear communication, and reliable care. Experience in childcare, references, and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred; competitive part-time salary and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a childminder or in a similar childcare role, with references.
• Ability to create a structured and engaging daily routine for children.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe supervision for the child(ren) at all times.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and outings.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child(ren).
• Assist with children's routines, including naps, bath time, and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and ensure child safety within the home.
