Job Purpose: The role will be firstly responsible for supervising the storage, distribution, inventory management and records maintenance in a warehouse. The role is secondly responsible to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.

Job Specification

Responsibilities
  • Management of stock and assets in the warehouse.
  • Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
  • Supervise counting and identifying of stock.
  • Prepare worker schedules and ensure warehousing and distribution workers follow safety rules.
  • Ensure internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows.
  • Ensure that stock is captured onto database.
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure stocks are in correct locations.
  • Monitor stock levels to highlight minimum and excess levels and prevent stock shortages.
  • Attend and resolve customer queries.
  • Submit relevant reports as required.

Asset Movement & Logistics
  • Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
  • Supervise the movement, distribution and storage of stock.
  • Control the flow of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Keep records of stock quality and quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • Attend and resolve customer queries.
  • Submit relevant reports as required.
  • Assets moved within SLA branches.
General & Operational
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems.
  • Conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder processes as needed.
Asset Management
  • Track and manage warehouse assets, ensuring proper utilization.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Schedule and coordinate tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Quality Control
  • Implement quality assurance measures for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
