A human resource consulting firm in Stellenbosch is seeking a Production Coordinator to manage warehouse operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining stock control, and overseeing daily production coordination. Candidates should have a Grade 12 qualification and a diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Management. Proficiency in SAGE and MS Office is essential. Complete handshake procedure alongside Production controller to confirm manufactured totals are correct on a daily basis in conjunction with the Warehouse Stock Controller.
Planning towards sufficient space available for manufactured stock to be stored in Warehouse in conjunction with the Warehouse Stock Controller.
Maintains safety standards and ensures safety of products while transporting from one area to another when warehouse employees are moving stock with the forklifts.
Sort, organize and ensure that inventory is stored in the proper location.
Maintaining Forklift and Bendi license registers, and ensure all training is booked and completed timeously.
Assist Auditors with FYE stocktake and Food Safety Audits.
Prepare DA32 documentation for each truck that gets loaded.
Accurate Picking of goods according to Load Instruction.
Reports any concerns / problems to the Warehouse Manager.
Check the loading of containers to ensure all required standards and procedures are met.
Assists with weekly and monthly stock take by physically counting stock for loading of orders.
Accurate and up to date stock information on system.
Accurate, timely flow of documentation and information
Complies with company and statutory Health & Safety policies and procedures, this includes sweeping and cleaning the Warehouse, the under canopy area, the container loading bay inside and outside, the Warehouse holding area where manufactured SKU's are kept.
Ensures excellent housekeeping is kept in order and meets required standards, this includes using the cage & forklift to lift warehouse staff within the cage to clean cobwebs.
Manages all transporters of finished goods on the site to ensure compliance with HSHG policies Follow-up
Ensures all complaints regarding warehouse and distributions are timeously addressed and CAR documents closed out with applicable corrective actions.
Assists in maintaining the Hygiene Management Procedure
Monitoring and reporting on truck schedule (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
Issues the documentation for removal of excisable finished goods (Customs Authorisation Letter)
Signing off and Monitoring of Invoices (Transport, etc) for finished goods
Provides information of stock status to internal and external customers when required.
Create Purchase Orders.
Following with Receipt and E-mail complete package to Finance.
Accurate time and attendance records.
Needs to be flexible to supervise and control both dry goods and finished goods employees
Assist with record keeping of attendance and clocking to provide HR with accurate time sheets by the due date.
Grade 12 or equivalent etc
Diploma in Warehouse and Distribution Management
Computer literacy essential SAGE, (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
