  • RVZ-1Warehouse Specialist - CPT and JHBOur client, a renowned global freight forwarding and logistics company, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join their dynamic operations team.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating, controlling, and optimising warehouse activities, ensuring smooth cargo flow, accuracy in stock management, and compliance with bonded and customs procedures.This position calls for someone with strong freight forwarding warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities

A warehouse specialist involves inspecting the quality and checking conformance to specifications of inbound as well as outbound goods, segregating goods that do not meet requirements and documenting the results within a warehouse, including receiving, storing, transferring, tracking, and fulfilling orders.

Assisting to capture, update and maintain warehouse records and maintain a filing system. Duties & Responsibilities Maintaining high standards of quality control process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all warehouse operations in receiving and releasing of goods. Conduct diligent inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliances with quality processes. Reports discrepancies and gap analysis to immediate supervisors daily. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related issues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Assist Supervisors with implementing and managing corrective and preventive action plans to address root causes of quality deviations. Assisting with capture, update and maintenance of warehouse records, including Purchase orders, good receipts, goods issued and return. Maintain a filing system including delivery notes, invoices, and asset registers. Always maintain high level of proper good housekeeping practices. Assist in other areas within warehouse operation (such as value added services, pallet transfer, insertion of leaflet / instruction, Re label….etc). Take on other job tasks as and when assign by the superior / managers.

Job Requirements Experience of Quality control or assurance in warehouse or logistics environment. Proficiency with tools like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Familiarity with relevant quality management requirements and standards ie ISO

Knowledge of safety standards. Ability to present analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details. Able to use MS office, PowerPoint, Excel and some other PC applications.
