Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 180 stores across the country.

Our team of experts is looking for Warehouse Quality Checkers to join the Absolute Pets warehouse team in Kempton Park Johannesburg.

If you want to join our team these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for :

  • Ensure that all stock picked matches the pick list.
  • Verify that there are no excess stock picks or under-picks; discrepancies must be reported immediately.
  • Conduct quality inspections on picked items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Report any damaged or defective goods found during quality checks.
  • Ensure that store picks are checked and verified in time for scheduled deliveries.
  • Work closely with pickers and drivers to rectify any order discrepancies.
  • Confirm that the correct stock rotation process (FIFO) is followed.
  • Perform regular cyclical stock counts as per warehouse schedules.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all stock is properly labelled and stored according to warehouse standards.
  • Maintain the housekeeping standards of the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all warehouse health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Any other ad hoc warehouse related duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
