Job summary

A dynamic staffing agency seeks a QA/QC Specialist for their e-commerce warehouse in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will ensure that all outgoing parcels adhere to quality standards for accuracy and packaging. Responsibilities include conducting quality checks, monitoring processes, and collaborating with teams to quickly resolve quality issues. A Grade 12 qualification, along with a certification in Supply Chain or a related field, is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in QA/QC, warehousing, or distribution required.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, B2B, or B2C logistics preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and health & safety legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound parcels.
  • Monitor compliance with SOPs and health & safety standards.
  • Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation and generate performance reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for accuracy and efficiency.

QA/QC Specialist – E?Commerce Warehouse

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for ensuring excellence in every parcel? We’re looking for a QA/QC Specialist to join our dynamic e?commerce warehouse team. In this role, you’ll be the quality gatekeeper, making sure that every order leaving our warehouse meets the highest standards of accuracy, packaging, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound parcels to ensure correct items, packaging, and labeling.
  • Monitor warehouse processes to ensure compliance with SOPs, health & safety standards, and client SLAs.
  • Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or process deviations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams to resolve quality issues quickly.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and generate reports on quality performance and trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
