Job summary

Zimmer Biomet offers a 12-month Warehouse Intern program in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will assist daily warehouse tasks, including receiving orders, restocking, picking, packing, and dispatch, while gaining SAP experience.

Applicants should have Matric and a Supply Chain/Logistics qualification, plus Microsoft Office skills. A SA driving licence is required, with rotating day/night shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• A South African driving licence is required.
• Ability to undertake manual handling in a physically demanding warehouse.
• Availability for rotating day/night shifts, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive and restock goods; record incoming and outgoing stock daily in line with warehouse processes.
• Pick and pack customer and branch orders and support timely shipment.
• Conduct stock counts and process the required paperwork.
• Use SAP and comply with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out manual handling and maintain good housekeeping.
• Follow health and safety standards and work effectively within the team.
• Work rotating day and night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
