Job description

Purpose

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for efficiently unpacking raw materials and loading them into trolleys that will be required inside the production area.

Furthermore, the Warehouse Operator is required to ensure accuracy and maintain a well-organized warehouse.

Success in this position involves meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with the raw material team and the production team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Unload raw material boxes for production orders with precision and attention to detail.
• Inspect and verify the contents of each box to ensure accuracy against accompanying documentation.
• Organize and categorize raw materials in the warehouse based on product specifications and storage requirements.
• Collaborate with the production & kitting team to determine the order of sheets to be off-packed.
• Efficiently load trolleys according to the specified sheet numbers, maintaining accuracy to prevent errors in the production process.
• Utilize material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, to move and transport materials as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during the unpacking, handling, and loading processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to overall warehouse efficiencymunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure waste from the kitting area is placed neatly in the waste skips outside.
