Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a General Warehouse operative to assist with stock receipt, checking, movement, and organisation in a busy warehouse in Cape Town. You will help load and unload deliveries, pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch, and support stock rotation procedures.

You will also verify quantities, packaging, labels and expiry dates, maintain cleanliness, and participate in stock counts. The role requires adherence to FIFO and proper handling of perishable items per company

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, checking, moving, and organising stock.
• Load and offload products from delivery vehicles and within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, sort, and prepare products for dispatch when required.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock rotation according to company procedures.
• Check product quantities, packaging, labels, and expiry dates where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse, loading areas, and delivery vehicle.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
• Handle food, beverages, household products, and other consumer goods according to company procedures.
• Follow the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle where applicable.
• Ensure that perishable products are handled and stored according to required temperature and hygiene standards.
