Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team in the food production industry in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and safe storage of raw materials and finished goods.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically control the Warehouse in conjunction with the company’s policies and strategic objectives.
  • Control the receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes effectively.
  • Control day-to-day operations of the Warehouse in order to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Cost management of all Warehouse activities.
  • Ensure stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
  • Oversee, complete, and ensure stock takes are conducted.
  • Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported as non-conformances, investigated, and communicated.
  • Maintain stock control systems and ensure sufficient stock availability at all times.
  • Control and minimize scrap and ensure authorization before any items are scrapped.
  • Produce reports and statistics monthly.
  • Ensure adherence to the OHS Act.
  • Ensure the warehouse maintains and complies with standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food production industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A thorough practical knowledge of best practices in Operations processes.
  • Knowledge ofOHS Act
