Position Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient management and operation of the warehouse facility.

• The role involves overseeing inventory, supervising staff, implementing and optimizing processes, and ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Maintaining quality standards, optimizing workflows, and upholding safety and regulatory compliance.
• Overseeing and managing day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Ensuring efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
• Enforcing quality control standards to maintain product quality and prevent damage or loss.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure products are stored safely and securely.
• Implementing inventory control measures, including stock tracking, cycle counts, and regular reconciliation.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, stock movements, and adjustments.
• Leading, mentoring, and managing warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assigning tasks, setting priorities, and providing guidance to ensure a productive and motivated team.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and responding to safety concerns or incidents.
• Conducting safety training and ensuring staff follow safety procedures.
• Continuously reviewing and improving warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet performance targets.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
• Generating reports and providing data analysis to support management decisions.
