Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Warehouse General Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The Warehouse General Worker will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our warehouse including but not limited to receiving and storing goods, picking and packing orders and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Sort and store goods in designated areas within the warehouse
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Other duties as assigned by warehouse manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if required
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa
