Job summary

Absolute Pets in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate a Counterbalance forklift to transport goods, load and unload trucks, and organize stock across designated locations.

The role requires reliable, safety-minded individuals with experience in warehouse environments. You will assist with stock takes, packing, labeling, and dispatching orders to stores daily while maintaining tidy, efficient storage areas.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to load/unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with stock recording and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift (Counterbalance Lift Truck) to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
• Stack and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
• Loading of vehicle in an organized and careful manner.
• Delivering of stock to stores in a timely manner.
• Ensuring correct stock is delivered to the specific store.
• Receiving of orders from suppliers and ensuring they are checked in correctly.
• Labelling and packing of the stock in an orderly manner.
• Picking and dispatching of orders to be sent out to stores daily.
• Recording of any damaged goods.
• Relocating and re-stacking of goods to make space for new deliveries.
• Maintaining the tidiness of the warehouse.
• Assist with the preparation of stock takes
