Our client, an upmarket hotel and conference center in Pretoria is looking for experienced and dedicated Waiters to join their team as soon as possible.

Candidates must be able to work long hours, night shifts and weekends to meet operational requirements.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesRegular attendanceArrive at work as per the departmental shift list.Attend Shift Briefing and receive work order / allocation (This must happen at the start of every shift)Maintain working knowledge of employee handbooks, policy and procedure manualProviding a high quality and consistent service to both internal and external customersHave an extensive knowledge about the products in circulation that are on offerMaintaining hygiene in back of house areas, Kitchens and storeroomsAdhering to a high level of cleanliness in front of house and back of house food and beverage areasEnsuring that operating equipment is looked after packed away in the correct manner and locked away if necessaryTaking Ala-Carte correct food orders from the guests, delivering food to the guests in professional mannerTaking correct beverage orders from the guests and delivering in professional mannerMaintain a high level of personnel hygiene, appearanceWork safely, adhering to all hotel health and safety precautionsAttend hotel and / or departmental meetings and training sessions when necessaryMaintaining a cleaning schedule for fridge seals, cupboards, glasses, coffee machines and generalDisposal of waste before, after and during events or the opening and closing cleaning down proceduresWork in co-operation with other departments, develop and maintain an effective working relationshipPerform other duties as requested
