Communicate any food requirements or allergies to the kitchen accurately and promptly. Have comprehensive knowledge of the menu and wine list to assist guests confidently. Handle guest complaints and comments with professionalism, escalating when necessary. Stay informed on daily operations, special events, and functions to ensure preparedness for each shift. Perform cleaning duties as required, including polishing cutlery and glassware, cleaning service areas, and maintaining tidiness throughout shifts. Accurately process all transactions through the POS system.
Requirements Minimum 2 years’ waitering experience in a fine dining environment (hotel restaurant experience advantageous). Sound knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverages.
