We are seeking a Vice President, US Sales East located in New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Atlanta, Richmond, Boston, Charlotte, Tampa, or Texas.

Purpose
You will be a key leader in driving revenue growth and market expansion within the designated territory. Reporting directly to the VP of US Sales & Commercial Enablement, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, manage a high-performing sales team, and foster strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets and strengthen market position.

You Will Be Responsible For
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable laws, Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Sales Strategy Development
    Collaborate with the VP of US Sales & Commercial Enablement to develop and execute the regional sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve targets. Implement training and development programs to enhance skills and foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Sales Performance Management
    Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics; regularly monitor performance and provide coaching. Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to address obstacles to success.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders; engage major accounts to identify needs and position products effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and deliver value; share field insights with senior leadership to inform strategy.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
    Maintain understanding of regional market dynamics, including competitive offerings and customer behaviors. Provide regular reports on performance, trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Budget & Resource Management
    Manage the regional sales budget and optimize resource allocation; evaluate and enhance sales tools and technologies to improve productivity.

Required
Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, General Management or Sales in Medical Devices/MedTech required.
  • Proven track record in Medical Devices/MedTech space; people management experience required.
  • This position requires domestic travel approximately 50% of the time; some weekend travel will be required.
  • Proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications. Strong financial and business acumen (P&L, relationships with key opinion leaders).
  • Ability to operate in highly complex, hybrid, and diversified markets; able to stimulate innovation in Marketing and reposition strategies as needed.
  • Ability to lead Marketing in achieving goals for stakeholders and collaborate across US and OUS sales/marketing to launch products; proven talent development.
  • Commitment to an inclusive, customer-centric culture; effective management in a matrix organization; acts as an organizational change agent; able to master global complexity.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) strongly preferred; international experience and sales/marketing leadership experience preferred.
  • Clinical Electrophysiology and/or Cardiovascular industry knowledge preferred.

The anticipated base pay range
The expected base pay range for this position is $263,500 to $356,500.
