Our client, a renowned fashion retailer, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store customer experience at their Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal location. You will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and commercially effective store layouts, window displays, and in-store presentations. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative window and in-store visual merchandising displays.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual presentations in the store.
• Plan and execute seasonal campaigns and promotions through visual elements.
• Collaborate with store management and marketing teams to align visual strategies.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and materials.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure effective product placement for maximum appeal.
• Stay updated on the latest retail design trends and competitor activities.
• Create planograms and guidelines for visual setups.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and visual presentation areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful visual merchandising projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into visual concepts.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move fixtures and displays.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for display changes.
• Residing in or able to commute reliably to Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal .
