Job summary

A French outsourcing service provider is seeking a Visa Application Officer in Cape Town. This role involves welcoming visa applicants, processing applications, managing payments, biometric collection, and other back office tasks. Candidates must have strong customer service skills and fluency in English is mandatory. A matric or equivalent is required, and previous customer service experience is preferred. This position offers local contracts without expatriation.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Previous customer service experience as a customer service consultant.
  • Matric or equivalent; tertiary qualification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming all visa applicants in the operated visa application center.
  • Process the visa application of the applicants (front office).
  • Collect payments from the applicants (Payment counter).
  • Manage the biometric collection of visa applicants (biometry).
  • Manage all back office tasks to finalize the visa application of our applicants (back office).
  • Manage all other tasks given by the management.

VAO at Capago – Objectives

The mission of a Visa Application Officer is to realize all tasks required for the represented consulate(s) to process visa applications. According to the department where he/she will be assigned, the Visa Application Officer will have to welcome clients, collect and capture their data with all information related to them. The visa application officer is the face of Capago. All applicants that he/she is handling must be treated by using the best practices of customer service.

Responsibilities

Diploma And Experience
  • Matric or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualification is an added advantage.
