Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Virtual Special Education Teacher in Richards Bay to provide tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing IEPs in a virtual or blended setting.

You will work with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, adapt instruction, and maintain thorough records, contributing to meaningful outcomes in KwaZulu-Natal's educational community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's preferred.
• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the relevant grade levels.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in special education with focus on IEP development.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and virtual learning platforms.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students with special needs in a virtual/blended format.
