Job summary

Southern Sun Hotels in Knysna, South Africa invites a dedicated Hospitality Guest Relations Specialist to elevate guest experiences in our luxury resort. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring every stay is seamless and memorable for high‑profile guests.

This full‑time role requires 3–5 years in front office guest relations and a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management. Weekend/holiday shifts are expected, with opportunities for international transfers within the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field.
• 3–5 years front‑of‑house/guest relations experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Experience handling high‑net‑worth guests is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end guest experience from pre‑arrival to post‑departure.
• Liaise with VIP guests to ensure all requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Concierge for seamless service.
• Handle guest complaints with empathy and rapid resolution.
• Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future stays and enhance loyalty.
• Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and identify areas for service improvement.
