Job summary

Empire Recruitment Ltd is seeking a creative and fast-moving video producer/editor in Gauteng, South Africa. You will develop campaigns, social-first content and executive clips, while shooting and editing across events and internal communications.

You will manage lighting, sound and framing, curate assets, adapt content for LinkedIn and YouTube, and collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure brand-aligned, high-impact outputs.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Film, Multimedia, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Motion Design, Marketing, or Communications.
• 3–5 years' experience in video production, editing, or digital content creation.
• Employee benefits or insurance industry experience is essential.
• Strong portfolio showing video editing, motion graphics, animation, social-first content.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, events, internal communications and executive thought leadership.
• Create engaging motion graphics, animations, reels, short-form videos and social-first content.
• Shoot, edit and repurpose long-form content into impactful clips, teasers and platform-specific assets.
• Support podcast production, including recording, editing, clipping and creating publishing-ready content.
• Package executive content for platforms such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Capture content at internal and external events, including highlight reels and social media assets.
• Work with Marketing, PR, Social Media, Events and Design teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Ensure content aligns with brand standards and messaging.
• Manage lighting, sound, framing and camera setup.
• Maintain organised content libraries, working files and final assets.
