Scale Army Careers is seeking a freelance Video Editor to join a fast-paced, remote team. You will edit brand films, interviews, explainers, demos, testimonials, and short-form content for U.S. clients, using DaVinci Resolve Studio and After Effects.

The role requires strong storytelling, color grading, audio work, and motion-graphics integration across cloud-based workflows. The position offers fully remote work with EST hours, collaboration with the creative team, and a focus on delivering

Competenze

• 1+ years of professional video editing experience using DaVinci Resolve Studio.

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone. Our client is a fast-paced creative video agency specializing in high-quality brand films, commercials, testimonials, explainers, UGC content, and short-form social media videos for a variety of clients. Their work emphasizes cinematic storytelling, strong visual branding, and platform-conscious content across multiple channels.

Role Overview

The Video Editor will edit a wide range of video content, bringing stories to life through cinematic pacing, visual storytelling, color, audio, and motion graphics. The role will work primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio across brand films, interviews, explainers, product demos, testimonials, and short-form social content. This is a freelance, remote role collaborating closely with the creative team, project managers, and clients while managing projects through cloud-based workflows and delivering polished work on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Storytelling

• Edit brand films, multi-camera interviews, explainers, product demos, client testimonials, and short-form social content, including Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
• Apply cinematic storytelling techniques with strong pacing, clean transitions, and platform-conscious editing.

Experience
