Join the team as a Video Editor at Cherry Assistant. This full‑time remote role focuses on curating and analyzing high‑performing UGC ads, driving creative strategy, scripting content concepts, and supporting production and account workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a searchable database of high‑performing UGC ads by niche and geography, documenting hooks, formats, and creative patterns.
- Conduct competitive research using Meta Ads Library, TikTok Creative Center, and YouTube Ads to identify top‑performing creative trends and performance drivers.
- Generate data‑informed creative ideas, hooks, and short‑form video scripts; write concise briefs and storyboards for creators and editors.
- Collaborate closely with editors and media buyers to translate insights into scroll‑stopping ads optimized for performance across platforms.
- Partner with creators to develop on‑brand UGC content; oversee briefing, timelines, and deliverables.
- Analyze creative results, produce performance reports, and recommend test matrices and next‑step iterations.
- Maintain organized asset libraries, ensuring consistent naming conventions, file hygiene, and quality control.
- Support account managers with creative decks, mood boards, and strategy rationale for client presentations.
- Keep internal resources, swipe files, and SOPs up to date to enhance creative workflows.
- Stay informed on platform trends, best practices, and emerging ad formats for Meta, TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UGC content, social creative strategy, or performance marketing (agency or brand side).
- 2+ years of experience with DTC or eCommerce brands, especially in niches like skincare, fashion, or beauty.
- 2+ years of experience ideating, scripting, and briefing short‑form video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong analytical and research skills; familiarity with ads libraries and creative performance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1+), with strong storytelling and attention to brand tone.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with paid media performance metrics (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, etc.).
- Strong collaboration skills with editors, creators, and paid media strategists.
- Experience working on UGC or influencer‑style ad content.
- Comfort presenting creative insights and contributing to client‑facing discussions.
- Slack for team communication; Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro / After Effects).

Schedule & Pay
Full‑time position; Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM GMT/BST. Pay ranges fromR14, - R16, per month. Annual raises, bonuses, and confirmed holidays.
