Placements24 is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our Queenstown production team. You will edit raw footage, add graphics and music, and shape stories for marketing, social media, and internal communications.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio and proficient with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects. You’ll collaborate with content creators to deliver high-quality videos across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products for various platforms, including web, social media, and presentations.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance video narratives.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms and formats, maintaining technical quality.
• Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Understanding of video production workflows, formats, and best practices.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
