Lead the Training Pipeline for E-commerce Video Editing Excellence

Are you a proven expert in Video Production and Editing and a highly effective virtual trainer? We are seeking a Video Editing Training Specialist to design, manage, and deliver the essential training programs that transform great remote talent into best‑in‑class Video Production Virtual Assistants (VAs).

This role is for the creative master who can teach. You will own the curriculum for high‑impact video excellence, ensuring our VAs are client‑ready experts in creating captivating video assets for E‑commerce channels.

Your Strategic Impact

Curriculum Ownership and Video Production Delivery

You will be the architect of our video editing training pipeline, directly influencing the quality and scalability of our talent pool.

• Instructional Design & Strategy: Conceptualize, design, and continuously update all training materials (modules, decks, hands‑on projects) focused on advanced video editing, motion graphics, and narrative pacing skills to reflect current E‑commerce trends (e.g., TikTok/Reels best practices) and client campaign needs.
• Software Mastery Programs: Build and facilitate advanced, hands‑on workshops in core editing tools, specifically focusing on Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and rapid‑editing mobile apps like CapCut or InShot.
• Video Onboarding & Assessment: Lead the training and practical assessment for all new video editing hires, ensuring 100% preparedness for creating client‑facing assets (e.g., short‑form ads, product demo videos, testimonial clips) and setting the benchmark for quality performance.
• Performance Coaching: Conduct targeted 1:1 and group coaching on storytelling, sound design, color grading, and effective visual pacing to diagnose skill gaps and mentor VAs toward specialization.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with the Operations and Client Success Teams to identify and close critical video production skills gaps that impact client satisfaction and conversion‑focused service delivery.

What You Bring: The Expert Combination

• Video Production Expertise: 3+ years of hands‑on, professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, or commercial asset creation for digital marketing/E‑commerce. A portfolio showcasing your video work is required.
• Training Expertise: 2+ years of formal experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or virtual training delivery.
• Tool Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential. Familiarity with mobile‑first video editing tools (CapCut, etc.) is a plus.
• Communication: Exceptional virtual presentation and facilitation skills; ability to simplify complex video principles (pacing, rhythm, sound mixing) into clear, actionable learning paths.
• VA/Remote Context: Previous experience training talent in a remote/BPO environment is highly desirable.
