An established car rental service provider in Gauteng is looking for an Operations & Customer Service Associate. This role involves assisting customers with rental inquiries, ensuring documentation for vehicles is accurate, and maintaining a high level of client interaction. The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, knowledge of the South African car rental market, and a valid driver's license. Job Description: Operations & Customer Service

Welcome and assist customers with vehicle rental inquiries, reservations, and rental processing. Conduct pre‑rental and post‑rental vehicle inspections, ensuring documentation accuracy. Ensure timely delivery, collection and turnaround of vehicles for clients. Maintain professional client interaction in line with company standards. Handle client complaints and escalate unresolved issues to the Reporting Manager. Promote additional services (insurance packages, GPS, chauffeur drive).

Compliance & Reporting

Follow company SOPs, brand guidelines and South African legal/compliance requirements. Support in preparing daily / weekly reports on rentals, revenue and fleet utilization. Ensure adherence to insurance and accident‑reporting protocols.

Skills & Competencies

Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Basic knowledge of fleet/vehicle operations and rental management systems. Sales orientation with negotiation and upselling skills. Good computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools, rental software). Problem‑solving attitude with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience
