HXP is seeking experienced Van Assistants to join our delivery team in Cape Town. You will support drivers with route planning, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure accurate inventory checks and proof-of-delivery signatures. A positive attitude and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Matric is required, and strong communication skills with basic numeracy will help you succeed. Physical fitness is vital for daily duties and safe operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• A Van Assistant, or Driver Assistants, supports driver in the efficient, safe and timely delivery of goods to customers in a polite and professional manner
• Manually loading and unloading products safely to avoid damage
• Assist driver in checking inventory against invoices, and obtaining customer signatures for proof of delivery
• Ensure vehicle is neat and clean
