Job summary

Salt seeks a proactive Senior UX & UI Manager to own end-to-end design across our portfolio of websites. You will craft the overarching parent journey, balancing ecosystem strategy with pixel-perfect execution.

You will lead design across research, ideation, wireframes, visuals, and handoff, shaping seamless user flows and elevating design system standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong UX and UI expertise with a portfolio showing multi-site/web work across connected environments.
• Experience guiding projects through full lifecycle using modern design tools like Figma.
• Self-directed, proactive about spotting opportunities to improve the user experience in ambiguous situations.
• Comfort with user research/usability testing and using analytics to back up design choices.
• Native English fluency is required.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on Senior UX & UI Manager to own the end-to-end design across our portfolio of websites. In this role, you'll drive the overarching "parent journey" that connects our sites, balancing holistic ecosystem strategy with pixel-perfect execution.

What You'll Do

• Own the Ecosystem: Lead end-to-end design across our site portfolio—from research, ideation, and wireframing to visual design and handoff.
• Shape the Parent Journey: Build seamless, consistent, and coherent user flows across interconnected web properties.
• Elevate UI Craft: Set the benchmark for design systems, typography, interaction design, and web accessibility (WCAG).
• Data-Informed Design: Leverage user research, analytics, and conversion data to continuously refine and optimize site journeys.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Content, and Engineering to turn business goals into intuitive digital experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Portfolio-Level Experience: Strong UX and UI expertise with a portfolio demonstrating shipped web work across multi-site or connected environments.
• End-to-End Ownership: Proven experience guiding projects through the full lifecycle using modern design tools like Figma.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly self-directed, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and proactive about spotting opportunities to improve the user experience.
• Research & Data Fluency: Comfort running user research/usability tests and utilizing analytics to back up design choices.
