A leading retail company in South Africa is seeking a part-time management role focused on maintenance. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment safety, and developing maintenance plans. Candidates should have significant experience in maintenance management. What you'll do Coordinates communication and schedules all special project and corporate work initiatives to be completed within required time frames, coordinates both internal and external resources.
Ensures understanding of maintenance policies and procedures by analyzing and interpreting reports and providing direction and guidance on executing maintenance plans.
Maintains equipment in a safe and efficient working condition by collaborating with maintenance and leadership team on the development of maintenance plans, maintaining job-plan library and executing preventive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime; tracks and coordinates utilization of spare parts and special-order parts inventory.
Develops maintenance plans by assigning work to technicians, working with parts room crew team to build bills of material, building upcoming job plans that include parts, tools, work instructions and skill levels, following up to ensure that the maintenance plan is clear and concise.
Tracks and communicates related performance indicators regarding Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by determining areas of performance issues, collaborating with maintenance operations and reliability teams and providing summaries to Walmart Technology team to address issues.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
