Job summary

A recruitment agency is urgently seeking an experienced Debtors Clerk to provide temporary cover until the end of January. This role involves handling daily banking transactions, processing claims, and managing customer queries efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a Debtors environment and strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word. This is a critical support role needed to ensure smooth financial operations during Month-End and Year-End processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Debtors environment.
• Experience dealing with export debtors is advantageous.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Capture daily banking transactions.
• Process claims and monitor/control credit notes.
• Prepare documentation required to unblock customer accounts.
• Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Liaise with Stores, Procurement, and Sales teams.
