Boardroom Appointments is seeking a UPS Field Service Engineer to perform field services, installations, repairs and commissioning of UPS systems.

The role requires a strong electrical background, hands-on experience with AC/DC systems, and the ability to travel nationally and cross-border.

Candidates should have Matric, a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or higher, at least five years UPS experience, and be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Formación

• Matric and a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or higher) are required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with UPS.
• Proficient in AC and DC knowledge.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
• Valid driver's license or passport.
• Willingness to travel nationally and cross-border.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsabilidades

• AC and DC installation.
• Fault finding and repair of UPS systems in the field.
• Battery replacement.
• Site survey and electrical environment analysis.
• Diagnostic of MCCs, VSDs, Power Distribution (1st Level).
• Compile site analysis report.
• Build customer relationships.
• Promote / Sell the services offerings.
• Prepare monthly report related to service activity.
