A leading health insurance provider in South Africa is seeking an Underwriter to assess new business applications and provide underwriting decisions. The ideal candidate will have Grade 12 / Matric and 1-2 years of underwriting experience, with health experience as an advantage. Responsibilities include making decisions based on regulations and liaising effectively with brokers and applicants. This position is crucial for maintaining service delivery and client satisfaction.

To assess new business applications and provide accurate underwriting decisions in line with the Scheme's underwriting guidelines.
Grade 12 / Matric.1-2 years underwriting experience.Health underwriting experience an advantage.
Maintain a broad product, legislation and standards / protocols knowledge in order to effectively and accurately perform the role of an underwriter.Adhere to organisational best practice and legislative requirements. Identify risks to the company and elevate accordingly.
