Responsibilities include starting-up equipment, performing inspections, loading ore, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any defects or mechanical faults.
• Load, haul and dump ore or waste material according to production requirements.
• Adhere to all Mine Health and Safety regulations, standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Perform housekeeping duties within designated work areas.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production and safety matters.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment within underground working areas.
• Report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Contribute towards achieving daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
