Your Purpose

As our UI Designer, you’ll lead the creation of stunning, responsive design interfaces that bring our digital platforms to life. You’ll help shape the visual identity of our web, email, and social touchpoints, collaborating with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure everything we create is beautiful, intuitive, and consistent.

You’ll balance craft and logic, using your eye for detail and understanding of user experience to design assets that are both pixel‑perfect and user‑friendly.

Your Core Responsibilities

UI Design & Execution

• Create responsive, mobile‑friendly web pages, templates, and interfaces.
• Design high‑quality visuals using Figma in line with our brand and product guidelines.
• Translate wireframes and UX concepts into polished UI screens.

Design Systems & Visual Assets

• Maintain and evolve our digital design system and UI components.
• Design on‑brand visual content across digital formats (web, email, PDF, social).
• Develop and refine icons, infographics, and visual content to support storytelling.

Collaboration & Implementation

• Partner closely with developers to hand off specs and support implementation.
• Participate in Dev QC and testing to ensure pixel‑perfect execution.
• Align visual design with content strategy and messaging goals.

Cross‑Channel Design Support

• Design branded emailers that support lifecycle and campaign goals.
• Create compelling visuals for social media, motion graphics, and occasional video FX.

Who We’re Looking For

• A relevant design or creative tertiary qualification.
• 3–5+ years’ experience designing UI across web and digital platforms.
• Mastery of Figma and familiarity with modern design systems.
• Strong visual design, typography, and layout skills.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and responsive frameworks.
• Highly organised, collaborative, and detail‑oriented.
• A flair for storytelling and an eye for what makes digital design delightful.
• Passion for Africa, design excellence, and meaningful user experiences.
