Responsibilities
- Curate and schedule TV programming for cruise ships, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of shows and movies.
- Monitor and maintain the TV broadcast equipment, ensuring high-quality and uninterrupted service.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with the TV equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the TV programming aligns with overall guest experience and company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for new and exciting programming options.
- Manage and maintain relationships with TV providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Train and supervise junior TV staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in TV programming, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.
- Strong knowledge of TV broadcasting equipment and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
