An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trust Administrator to join the Private Client team of a highly regarded national law firm, based in the Manchester office.

This is a fantastic role for someone with a strong interest in trust and estate administration, looking to build their expertise within a market-leading team that works with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trustees, and charities.

Role
  • Preparing trust accounts, HMRC returns, and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with banks, investment managers, and other third parties regarding client funds and investments
  • Managing correspondence and instructions between trustees, beneficiaries, and advisors
  • Making payments to beneficiaries and handling related transactions
  • Running files under supervision and assisting with wider private client matters
About you
  • Experience in trust or private client work is advantageous, but those from an accounts, bookkeeping, or financial background are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and confidence handling financial data
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop within a supportive team environment
  • STEP qualification (or working towards it) would be an advantage but is not essential
