The Treasury System Implementation Consultant is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of treasury management system projects across IT2 and TreasuryXpress. The role focuses on accurate system configuration, clear communication with clients, structured testing, and coordinated project execution. The aim is to ensure that solutions meet business requirements, perform reliably, and are delivered in line with TreasuryONE's methodology and project timelines.
Purpose of the role
To configure, test, and implement treasury system solutions, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth and professional delivery process.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in client workshops and assist in developing solution design documentation
- Guide clients in completing data workbooks and translate business requirements into system configuration
- Configure and test system workflows across cash management, forecasting, payments, FX, risk management, and integrations
- Provide structured support during testing phases, including user acceptance testing and go-live
- Track progress of assigned tasks and report updates to the project management team
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to encourage knowledge sharing and effective problem solving
- Communicate system functionality and technical concepts clearly to clients and colleagues

Education
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Preferred: Honours degree or postgraduate qualification in Treasury, Financial Engineering, or a technology-related field
- Advantageous: ACT certificate or similar treasury qualification
Experience
Essential
- 2-4 years' experience in treasury, corporate finance, or financial systems implementation
- Practical experience with system configuration, testing, or data migration
- Experience in client-facing roles requiring clear communication and issue resolution
Preferred
- Experience with treasury systems such as IT2, TreasuryXpress, Kyriba, or Quantum
- Project delivery or consulting experience in a financial technology setting
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing and go-live activities
