A leading manufacturing company in Gauteng is seeking a Mid-Senior level Treasury professional to provide accounting and operational support to its Treasury function. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in liquidity risk management, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with banking systems and establish treasury policies.
To provide Accounting and Operational support to the Group Treasury function.
Perform and oversee Exchange Control applications and renewals, maintain internal registers.
Investigate problems with Exchange Control approvals to find alternate solutions.
Provide training, advisory services and oversight to business entities drafting applications.
Provide regular reporting required by SARB.
Assemble and provide ongoing KYC documentation for FICA requirements.
Manage bank account administration (local and foreign operations); facilitate opening and closure; maintain online profiles and user access controls.
Assist processing of bank guarantees, Letters of Credit and legal transfers; support account signatories and onboarding new bankers.
Address electronic banking errors and handle receipt / distribution of monthly bank statements, verifying charges, fees and costs.
Liaise with banking operational teams, dealing desks, business entities and auditors for project implementation and treasury policies.
Support integration between banking, Oracle and FCC systems; establish an in-house banker for internal transactions; implement money-market and cash-flow forecasting systems; oversee Treasury & banking systems for Host-to-Host payments.
Develop treasury policies covering Liquidity Risk Management, Foreign Exchange Risk Management and Commodity Risk Management.
Review, validate and consolidate cash-flow forecasts in all currencies; oversee loan interest, redemption verification and intercompany loan reporting.
Assist with monthly treasury accounting, forecasting, budgeting and reporting (weekly cash position, monthly exposure, control, and financial statement reporting).
8+ years in a corporate treasury role.
Experience in liquidity risk management, borrowing and investment instruments.
Experience in supply chain finance.
Experience in foreign exchange risk management and instruments.
Experience in intercompany treasury transactions and accounting.
Preferred experience establishing a centralised treasury as an in-house banker.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
Solid work experience in treasury required.
Deep understanding of Treasury Systems, banking and cash management.
Excel modelling capability.
PowerPoint presentation capability.
Experience in banking cash online systems.
Experience in ERP systems.
