Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Sales Manager to drive B2B travel sales across Durban and surrounding regions. The role involves building strong relationships with travel agencies, generating new business, managing key accounts, and promoting travel-related services. Candidates must have hands‑on experience in the travel industry and strong B2B sales capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage B2B travel market and promote company travel services.
- Develop branding and product positioning within the travel agency network.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new travel agency partners.
- Provide training and support to existing travel agencies on platform usage.
- Generate new business leads and follow up on quotations and inquiries.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with travel partners.
- Coordinate with operations for pre‑sales support and issue resolution.
- Travel extensively across Durban and nearby areas to meet agencies (5+ visits daily).
Desired Profile
- 2 to 6 years of experience in the travel industry.
- Strong English communication and local language proficiency.
- Knowledge of South African travel trade, outbound destinations, and local agency networks.
- Solid understanding of destinations, hotels, and regional travel markets.
- Experience in outbound travel agencies preferred; IATA certification is an advantage.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of B2B Travel Industry experience.
- Proven experience in Business Development and Account Management.
- Valid South African driving license.
- Must be willing to travel 80% of the time.
- Able to join within 30 days.
