Job description

Got Drive? Join AnyVan as we make moving anything, anywhere miles better and build a career that moves just as fast.

Back in 2009, our CEO Angus saw half-empty vans everywhere and knew there had to be a better way! That's how AnyVan began. He set out to create the world’s most efficient logistics technology and help halve the number of wasted miles by filling those empty vans.

Since then we've become the nation's favourite way to move, with over 150k five-star reviews and 5 million customers in the UK and Europe. Our team of 400 AnyVanners across London, Cape Town and Bogota is proving that moving doesn’t have to cost the earth by helping save 8,520 tonnes of Carbon each year.

Are you the kind of person who gets a thrill from building things from scratch, making sense of data, and turning ideas into processes that actually work?

If yes, keep reading…

We’re looking for a Transport Partner Acquisition Lead to join AnyVan in Cape Town. Think of this role as the ultimate right-hand person to our Director of Supply for all things acquisition, helping us grow our Transport Partner network across multiple countries. You’ll start with France, and Europe and then take over the world… well, not literally, but close enough!

The fun part:
  • You get to own the end-to-end acquisition process of our Transport Partners from strategy to execution
  • You’ll lead change, embed new processes, and make sure everyone’s marching to the same growth beat
  • You’ll work across multiple markets, with exposure to international teams
  • Fast-moving tech environment; think AI in workflows, dashboards that actually help, and a progressive approach to data and systems
  • You’ll have freedom to design, implement, and improve. No one will tell you “this is how we do it”
What you’ll be doing:
  • Partner Acquisition & Pipeline: Build acquisition strategies, grow the pipeline, track metrics, and make sure our partners actually get onboarded
  • Onboarding and Enablement: Own the partner journey from attraction and sign up to first job, equip teams with the right tools, and ensure partners engage and hit the ground running
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with ops, product, and commercial teams; share best practices; unblock issues; and keep everyone aligned
  • Process Ownership: Analyse funnels, measure results, adapt based on data, and implement scalable improvements
  • Reporting & Metrics: Be the go-to person for acquisition metrics, dashboards, and insights that actually drive action
KPIs / What success looks like:
  • Partners acquired, onboarded, and activated.
  • Funnel conversion rates and speed to first job.
  • Partner retention and engagement.
  • Alignment of supply and demand across markets.
  • Dashboards and reports that actually get used
What you’ll bring:
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals in a fast-paced operational/data focused role
  • CRM experience, configuring, tracking, and making it work and deliver growth
  • Proven record of leading change and the ability to make it ‘stick’ with people and workflows
  • Numbers excite you and you’re a wizard in Excel/SQL and CRM tools
  • Multiple examples of being able to measure, adapt, and optimise workflows, processes, relationships – well everything really!!
  • You’re not just a systems person though, you like solving problems through a combination of data and conversations
  • Exposure to multiple countries excites you, working across borders is a thrill, not a headache
  • Industrial engineering background? Bonus points.
