Job summary

A leading logistics company in East London seeks a Fleet Manager to perform technical inspections and manage fleet operations. Responsibilities include ensuring truck cleanliness and roadworthiness, route planning, and supervising staff. The ideal candidate must have a Grade 12 qualification and at least 3 years of fleet management experience. This is a 6-day position requiring weekend and holiday work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in FMCG.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical inspections and audits to maintain operational fleet standards.
  • Ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness of trucks.
  • Manage route plans and driver debriefings.
  • Compile all required reports within set deadlines.
  • Supervise staff and track expenses.
