What youll be doing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with business objectives and statutory requirements (PSIRA, SETA, Department of Labour)
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and operational requirements
- Design, deliver, and manage training programmes (classroom, on-site, and e-learning) for cleaning and security operations
- Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to ensure new employees are operationally ready
- Coordinate SETA-accredited training, learnerships, and skills development initiatives
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and assessments
- Implement talent development frameworks, succession plans, and mentorship programs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour and training regulations, including PSIRA, SETA, BCEA, and OHSA
- Liaise with operations, HR, and external training providers to align learning objectives with operational outcomes
What youll need
- 57+ years proven experience in Training & Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
- Experience in Contract Cleaning and Private Security industries is essential
- National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or Industrial Psychology
- ETDP SETA Assessor / Moderator registration advantageous
- Strong knowledge of operational environments, compliance standards, and client service expectations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel nationally
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
