Our client is looking for a Trainer – Security to design, deliver, and assess training programs that ensure security staff are competent, compliant, and aligned with company and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, presentable, and able to work well with people at all levels.
They must be results-driven, able to deliver measurable improvements in performance, and highly organized with excellent administrative skills to manage training records and reporting efficiently.
This position is based in Centurion, Gauteng, but will require interaction with multiple sites as per operational needs.
Conduct training needs analysis and develop relevant training material
Deliver classroom, practical, and on-site training sessions
Assess learners’ competence and maintain accurate training records
Ensure compliance with PSIRA and other industry regulations
Collaborate with Operations and HR to align training with business needs
Continuously update training material based on new regulations or incidents
Grade 12 certificate (compulsory) and relevant tertiary qualification in Training & Development or Security Management
PSIRA-registered (Grade B or higher)
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the security industry, including training facilitation
ETDP / SETQAA Assessor qualification is advantageous
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Clear criminal record
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills; presentable and able to engage effectively with learners
Strong understanding of security operations and compliance standards
Ability to assess, coach, and motivate learners
Sound organizational and reporting skills; results-driven
Computer literacy (MS Office, LMS systems)
