  • As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer. This role will be based in Pretoria and will report to the Regional Technical Advisor.
RCL FOODS would require you as the Trainer to :
  • Provide training and advice to customers with regards to product preparation and planning works with sales team to ensure innovation products and meal solutions prepared correctly
  • Keep records of completed training for Learning and Development Department
  • Assist with trade shows and store openings, implement training plans where needed
  • Train showing business opportunities by adding SKU’s
Minimum Requirements

  • 2-3 year minimum relevant practical Bakery and Deli formal training to both individuals and groups.
Duties & Responsibilities
STRATEGY FORMULATION
TERRITORY STRATEGY FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
  • Implement the appropriate selling strategies for new SKUs to achieve listings in your area / improved ROS (Rate of sales)
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
MANAGE TERRITORY OUTLET RELATIONSHIPS
  • Grow business by delivering the strike rate requirement that allows addition of SKUs at an outlet level.
  • Build a reputation as the RCL Culinary Expert in Outlet Operation, through knowledge of the processes.
  • Provide product Training to Outlet staff teams on Full RCL Portfolio
  • Complete pre call planning for every route customer / site
  • Follow through on all customer complaints and queries timeously
  • Work closely with the Regional Trade Consultant / agent / Vector for your assigned outlets
MARKETING MANAGEMENT
NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
DEMONSTRATE PRODUCT RANGE / CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Demonstrate the quality and advantages of the RCL Foods – Growth Customer products towards potential and existing customer
  • Understanding and present intrinsic product benefits aligned to profile Outlets according to RCL Strategy
  • Preparation of all samples required timely before scheduled demonstrations and / or on-site preparation
  • Escalate customer complaints to customer service channel
  • Be a resource of support for Key Account store openings, Key Accounts Formal training and product preparation, Golf days, Trade Days / Trade shows
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
  • Provide training assistance to RCL Customers and Key Account Operations staff.
  • Operate as a problem-solving consultant using your learnt expertise
TRAINING
  • Provide formalized training to align to the Outlet Targeting Model, at an agreed ranked coverage
  • Continued training of staff and demonstration of product range across all RCL Divisions
REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
  • Prepare weekly pre-call schedule to activities and maintain a map of daily detailed reports regarding demonstration. All trainings to be captured on Mobile App
TEAM COORDINATION AND SELF-MANAGEMENT
  • Demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritizing and self-development
MARKETING AND PROMOTION
  • This role will be highly involved in the activation of promotional activities at an outlet level within your territory. They key is ensure you deliver against the briefs and are timeous with your placement and feeding back noncompliance.
MARKET AND CUSTOMER INSIGHT MAINTENANCE
  • Keep the Channel Teams informed of latest developments and trading realities at an outlet by feeding back any operator issues that affect the relevance of our RCL range of products within your outlet through Field-App insights.
PRICING GUIDELINES MANAGEMENT
  • Track RCL brand portfolio and competitor prices across all customers / outlets
SUPPLY CHAIN DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT
  • Supply chain issues identified in your territory to be fed back to Regional Technical Advisor / Regional Trade Consultant for action.
