Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, with a preference for technical subjects.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice welding techniques safely and efficiently.
• Assist in preparation of metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning and grinding.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
• Perform basic fabrication and assembly tasks under supervision.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
