To perform process control duties as per the section-specific procedures to enable the section / plant to meet production targets with respect to time, quality, reduced frequency of errors and wastage reduction.
Matric (NQF Level 4) with Mathematics and Physical Science
One PMR Process Controller module.
0-1-year relevant plant / process experience.
Good communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.
Knowledge of plant-specific processes.
Knowledge of risk assessments in the workplace, including safety, environmental, security, and quality procedures.
Knowledge of company policies, standards, procedures and rules.
Basic computer literacy with good communication and customer service skills.
Basic problem-solving, decision making and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy, i.e., MS Office, SAP, will be an added advantage.
Must be medically fit for the Platinum Metal Refinery (PMR).
Carry out all tasks associated with the Trainee Process Controller position as per the Ru / Pt CPDP.
Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with work procedures.
Ensure that log sheets (and other required documentation) are updated accurately, conduct analyses, and monitor operations.
Responsible for promoting and maintaining safety, environmental, quality and security standards in the area of work.
Promote and maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility.
