About the Role

Our client is recruiting eager learners to train as Trainee Boilermakers in Mossel Bay . This apprenticeship provides a robust foundation in fabricating, assembling, and installing boilers, tanks, and other large vessels from metal plates. You will learn essential skills in welding, cutting, and shaping metal, working on projects that are vital to the region's industrial and marine sectors. Under the guidance of skilled tradespeople, you will develop a valuable trade qualification in a hands‑on, dynamic work environment within the scenic Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the marking off, cutting, shaping, and assembling of metal plates and structures.
• Learn and apply various welding and riveting techniques under supervision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for fabrication tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and welding equipment, safely.
• Ensure all work is performed to high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

Requirements

• A demonstrable interest in metal fabrication and construction trades.
• Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to work in various conditions.
• Good spatial reasoning and attention to detail.
