Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for clients.
  • Prepare payroll.
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform audits.
  • Work with senior accountants and managers on client engagements.
  • Liaise with clients and provide support where necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting, tax, and audit regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development as part of your SAICA articles.
