Our Client is seeking a Trade Millwright to join their company in Eastern Cape – based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
  • Trade Test: Millwright (NQF 5)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, SOPs, and safety standards
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, SAP/ERP systems)
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

Job Duties
  • Perform mechanical and electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal operation.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimise downtime and damage
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure equipment operates according to technical and production standards
  • Support production by resolving process-related issues promptly
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Monitor costs, control resources, and report deviations
  • Maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure high service quality
